Online Admission


Candidates are directed to apply online through college website (www.tarakeswardegreecollege.org) for admission to the BA, B.Sc, B.COM(Hons and General) courses.



Eligibility Criteria




Required Documents


  1. Attested Xerox copies of mark sheets of Madhyamik and H.S. examinations should be attached with the duly filled in admission form.
  2. Original Mark sheets should be produced at the time of admission.
  3. SC/ST/OBC candidates must attach attested Xerox copy of SC/ST/OBC certificate issued from the office of the S.D.O. with the admission form.
  4. SC/ST/OBC certificate in original should be shown at the time of admission.
  5. Original Migration certificate from the University/Board is to be produced at the time of admission in case of migrating candidates.
  6. In the transfer case, the candidate must produce original Transfer Certificate from the institution last attended.
  7. Original School/College leaving certificate from the Head of the institution last attended is to be produced at the time of admission.
  8. One recent passport size photograph.
  9. Attested Xerox copy of the admit card of Madhyamik examination showing date of birth should be attached with the admission form.
  10. The original admit card of Madhyamik examination is to be produced for verification of the date of birth at the time of admission.

Rules for Collegiate/Non-Collegiate/Dis-Collegiate


Selected candidates are requested to attend their classes from the very beginning of the session. The candidates who take admission after the commencement of classes, attendance will be counted from the very next day of their admission.
Collegiate Candidates : Students are required to attend at least 75% of the total lectures delivered to them in the session. They are eligible to appear at the university examination.
Non-Collegiate Candidates : The students whose percentage of class attendance is 60 and above but below 75 of the total lectures delivered to them in the session will be treated as non-collegiate candidates. They may be sent up at the university examination if their short percentage is condoned by the university authority.
Dis-Collegiate Candidates : The candidates whose percentage of class attendance falls below 60% of the total lectures delivered to them in the session will be treated as dis-collegiate candidates. They are not eligible to appear at the university examination. They may take re- admission.



Cancellation of Admission


If any student remains absent from his/her classes continuously for thirty days within the first two months from the date of his/her admission, his/her name will automatically be struck off the rolls, Fees submitted by the students at the time of admission shall also be forfeited.



Rules Regarding Promotion to Second Year Classes


Classes for the second year will commence immediately after the summer vacation. Candidates who have completed University Part-I examination will be permitted to attend such classes. Percentage of attendance will be counted from the date of commencement of second year classes.



Rules Regarding Promotion to Third Year Classes


Classes for the third year will commence immediately after Part-II examination. Candidates who have completed the Part-II examination will be permitted to attend such classes, provided they take provisional admission to 3rd year classes.
