The four N.S.S. units of the College approved by the Burdwan University has started functioning since January 1990. College students, both male and female, may join the scheme as one of the Co-curricular Programmes under the guidance of a Programme officer who is a member of the teaching staff. Its regular activities include adoption of a village, road repairing, cleaning the college premises, mass literacy campaign and various other social service campaigns.
